Interlibrary Loan

**Please note: The format to make ILL requests has changed as part of a system upgrade.

**Due to the COVID-19 situation: Please note that if our physical library is closed, we cannot access physical materials to process or distribute them. However, we will do our best to find online versions.**

  • Use your Emerson email credentials to sign in.
  • Emerson students, faculty, and staff may submit a maximum of 5 requests per day. 
  • Please submit requests in order of priority. 
  • Set your preferred contact email address for ILL notifications using Communication Preferences at the bottom of the request page.
  • You can check the status of your request at any time. If you are not contacted within four weeks, please reach out. Otherwise please assume that your request is in process.

If you do not use your Emerson email address, please be aware that notifications are sent from worldcat.org in case those messages accidentally get routed to junk mail or spam folders by your email service provider.

Request Items from FLO Libraries

Request items from the shared catalog of Fenway Library Organization (FLO)

  1. Find something in the catalog you want?  Click on the Make a Request link on the right side of the screen.
  2. Enter your barcode or ID #, PIN, and Last Name to login.  If you don’t know your PIN contact the Circulation desk: 617 824 -8668
  3. Select Request From Other Library.
  4. Select ECL-Circulation Desk from the Pick Up At: drop down menu.
  5. You will receive an email when your request has been processed by the lending library.
  6. You will receive an additional email when the item is ready to be picked up at the Service Desk. 
  7. We will hold the item for you for 10 days.
