Learning Outcomes

In addition to the Emerson College Learning Outcomes, departments define the student learning outcomes for individuals in their majors and degree programs. Learning outcomes for Emerson's various majors and programs are included on the dropdown list to the left. 

Departmental learning outcomes are revised or created by faculty members in consultation with the Office of Academic Assessment. The Office of Academic Assessment has been working with departments to revise and update the departmental learning outcomes initially adopted in 2015-2017, and moving forward, learning outcomes will be reviewed and updated every 5 years.
