As part of the college's ongoing assessment of student learning, each school year two of the perspectives that form students' shared liberal arts curriculum are assessed. The perspectives are as follows: World Languages, U.S. Diversity, Global Diversity, Social and Psychological , Scientific, Quantitative Reasoning, Literary, Interdisciplinary, History and Politics, Ethics and Values, and Aesthetic.
CURRENT & FUTURE ASSESSMENTS
As part of the college's curriculum mapping and rubric design efforts in preparation to implement Canvas Outcomes, during the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 academic years, OAA will be working with faculty in the Marlboro Institute to create shared rubrics for assessing students' achievement of the individual Perspectives learning outcomes.
