IDEAS Course Design Cycle

This guide describes an IDEAS course design cycle: moving from background reading through to course design, delivery, and assessment, we intend to provide faculty and departments with resources to further our campus engagement in equity-minded course desi

Topics

This site is under development, and new materials will continue to be added. For ease of use, the background readings included in this guide are organized onto subpages by topic:

The background documents included here range from peer-reviewed scholarly articles to webinars to TED talks. Most materials are included with a faculty audience in mind. Some materials may also be useful to share with students to provide a framework for classroom conversations. Materials more specifically aimed to help students understand anti-racist and culturally responsive pedagogy will be added as this guide develops.
