Storage and Scan & Send Request

Welcome to our new system for Storage and Scan & Send requests!

Follow this link to use the form for two purposes: to request scanned articles or book chapters found in Emerson's online databases or in Emerson's print collection, or to request items from In-House or Off-Site Storage. Use your Emerson account to sign in. 

  • Emerson students, faculty, and staff can submit up to 5 requests per day.
    • Alumni ineligible for Scan and Send service.
  • Please submit requests in order of priority. 
  • Only 1 chapter per book may be scanned.
  • Not eligible for Scan and Send service: 
    • Ebooks
    • Microfilm
    • Reserves
  • This service is for individual research and study purposes. Faculty seeking to create e-reserves should contact the Reserves Coordinator, Rowan Winterwood at rowan_winterwood@emerson.edu.
  • For assistance with Scan and Send, please contact Liz Melo, Library Operation Supervisor (Scan and Send)

In-House Storage items typically are retrieved within 3-5 business days.
Off-Site Storage items typically arrive at Emerson within 7-10 business days.

You can use Communication Preferences at the bottom of the page in this new system to indicate what email address you prefer for notifications about these requests. If you do not use your Emerson email address, please be aware that notifications are sent from worldcat.org in case those messages accidentally get routed to junk mail or spam folders by your email service provider.
